Coleg Penybont yn ennill Gwobr Arian yng Ngwobrau Heist mawr eu bri 2025

Mae Coleg Penybont wrth ei fodd o fod wedi ennill Gwobr Arian am y Profiad Digwyddiad Gorau yng Ngwobrau Heist eleni. Mae’r Gwobrau’n dathlu rhagoriaeth mewn marchnata a chyfathrebu addysg ledled y DU, ac fe’u cynhelir yn flynyddol gan Havas People, sefydliad sydd wedi cefnogi’r sector addysg ers dros 30 mlynedd.

Cynhaliwyd y seremoni wobrwyo gala yn Amgueddfa’r Arfdai Brenhinol yn Leeds, a fynychwyd gan weithwyr proffesiynol yn y sectorau Addysg Bellach (AB) ac Addysg Uwch (AU). Ar draws pob categori gwobrau, Coleg Penybont oedd un o ddim ond pum coleg AB yn y DU i gyrraedd y rhestr fer, ac un o ddim ond tri sefydliad yng Nghymru, ochr yn ochr â Phrifysgol Metropolitan Caerdydd a Phrifysgol De Cymru.

Cyrhaeddodd y Coleg y rhestr fer ar gyfer y wobr oherwydd ei stondin yn Sgiliau Cymru, prif ddigwyddiad sgiliau, gyrfaoedd a phrentisiaethau Caerdydd. Daeth dros 5,000 o fyfyrwyr i’r digwyddiad dros ddau ddiwrnod, gan gynnwys llawer o fewn y gynulleidfa darged, sef myfyrwyr blwyddyn 11 a 12.

Seiliodd Tîm Marchnata’r Coleg thema ei stondin o amgylch ystafell loceri Americanaidd, lle gallai myfyrwyr ‘Ddatgloi eu Potensial’ yn ‘Ystafell Loceri Coleg Penybont’. Tarodd y thema dant gyda’r grŵp oedran targed ac roedd ganddi gysylltiad clir ag amgylchedd addysgol. Roedd yr ystafell loceri yn llawn loceri rhyngweithiol, mannau hunlun ar gyfer y blwyddlyfr, a llawr fel cwrt pêl-fasged a argraffwyd yn fewnol. Yn unol ag amcan cynaliadwyedd y Coleg, roedd defnyddio technoleg yn rhan fawr o brofiad yr ymwelwyr a gyflawnwyd trwy gydweithio’n agos â chydweithwyr TG arbenigol i raglennu system bwrpasol ar gyfer y loceri i ddewis ymwelwyr ar hap.

“Prosiect gwirioneddol arloesol ac unigryw yr oedd y gynulleidfa’n uniaethu ag ef. Roedd hwn yn ateb gwirioneddol greadigol mewn lle gorlawn.”

Sylwadau’r beirniaid

Dyfarnwyd y wobr Aur i Goleg Penybont yng Ngwobrau Heist 2023 yn yr un categori ac roedd y Coleg eisiau adeiladu ar y llwyddiant hwnnw ymhellach. Cafodd y cysyniad, y cynllunio a’r gweithredu creadigol ar gyfer ‘Ystafell Loceri Coleg Penybont’ eu creu a’u rheoli’n llwyr yn fewnol. Roedd cynaliadwyedd, hygyrchedd a dwyieithrwydd i gyd yn bethau a ystyriwyd yn fwriadol wrth gynllunio ac a arweiniodd at brofiad digwyddiad cwbl unigryw i ymwelwyr.

“Mae’n wych cael ein cydnabod yng Ngwobrau Heist eleni. Mae’r wobr yn dyst i weledigaeth greadigol y tîm, eu meddwl arloesol a’u ffocws ar y gynulleidfa darged, a gyfunodd i gael effaith wirioneddol. Gwnaeth gweithio gyda chydweithwyr ar draws y Coleg wir ddod â phrofiad y digwyddiad yn fyw, gan ddangos pŵer cydweithio a gwaith tîm.”
