Studying A Levels at Bridgend College will allow you to benefit from excellent personalised support in a mature learning environment with specialist tutors who are experts in their subject areas. We offer an outstanding learning environment at our STEAM Academy in Pencoed and fantastic university progression routes. Weâre very proud of the consistently high achievements of our A Level students, with a 96% pass rate and 22% of our Collaboration learners gaining an A* or A grade in 2024.
We currently offer a selection of A level qualifications which provide great flexibility for our students. To study most A Levels at Bridgend College you need a minimum of 5 GCSEs A*- C grade, including English and Mathematics. There may be some exceptions. Please see each course page for specific entry requirements.
Collaboration with Bridgend County Borough Council
We deliver courses as part of a collaboration with schools from across Bridgend County Borough. Learners can access our first-class facilities at the STEAM Academy, Pencoed Campus alongside our specialist subject lecturers. If youâd like to access any of these courses please speak to your school which can help facilitate this.
All courses are taught Monday to Thursday 1-3pm with the exception of A Level Law Option X (Online) which is taught Tuesday and Thursday evenings 4.30-6.30pm. All times are subject to change.
If you are joining us in collaboration with a Bridgend County Borough school please choose one or two X or Y courses from option 1 and option 2.
