Tours are held on the campus of study for your area of interest and are tailored specifically towards it, giving you a clear idea of where your classes will be held and both the facilities and specialist spaces you’ll have access to.

A Levels

Pencoed Campus

Studying A Levels at Bridgend College will allow you to benefit from excellent personalised support in a mature learning environment with specialist tutors who are experts in their subject areas. We offer an outstanding learning environment at our STEAM Academy in Pencoed and fantastic university progression routes.

Access to Higher Education and Health and Social Care (Higher Education)

Bridgend Campus

Our ‘Access to Higher Education’ tour will give you the chance to explore our teaching spaces, library and dedicated study spaces on our Bridgend Campus. This tour is suitable for anyone looking to study Community Health and Wellbeing, Counselling or Psychology.

Agriculture

Pencoed Campus

Held on our Pencoed Campus, the tour for Agriculture will provide an overview of our Land Based Centre, including machinery and a visit to our sheep polytunnel.

Animal Care

Pencoed Campus

With a focus on our Animal Care Centre, this tour will allow you to meet some of our resident critters, visit our dog kennel and donkeys, and show you around our Land Based Centre.

Art and Design

Bridgend Campus

Our tour of Art and Design will take you around our specialist art facilities, including the fashion room, ceramics studio and dark room. You will also have the opportunity to view artwork of previous and current students.

Catering and Hospitality

Bridgend Campus

Explore our professional kitchens and work spaces, including our onsite restaurant, Bwyty 31. The tour will also visit the classrooms where students will be able to develop their theoretical knowledge.

Childhood Studies

Bridgend Campus

Our tour for Childhood Studies will take you to where classes will be held on Bridgend Campus. Here you will explore the different training facilities, including our simulation room for working with babies and young children.

Computing, IT and Cyber

Pencoed Campus

Join us on a tour of our award-winning STEAM Academy, which will highlight our specialist IT and Student Services facilities. These include our well-equipped IT suites with industry standard software.

Construction

Pencoed Campus

This tour will provide an overview of our specialist facilities within our dedicated premises for Construction. Here you will visit our various workshops, including those for both carpentry and bricklaying.

Digital Technologies

(Creative Media & Digital Arts)
Pencoed Campus

Join us on a tour of our award-winning STEAM Academy, which will highlight our specialist Creative Media and Student Services facilities. These include our industry-standard Mac suites, green screen room and sound booth.

Emergency, Uniformed and Public Services

Starting at our STEAM Academy, this tour will take you around the classrooms you’ll be studying in, our sports halls, sports pitches, gym and multi-use games area.

Engineering, Science & Building Services

Come along for a tour of our workshops and laboratories at the STEAM Academy, where you will be able to take a look at our specialist equipment, including robotics.

Our tour for Garden Design and Professional Landscaping will give you a look at our extensive amenities on Pencoed Campus. You will have the chance to visit our glasshouse, polytunnels, garden spaces and workshops.

Hair, Beauty and Complimentary Therapies

Bridgend Campus

The tour for Hair, Beauty and Complementary Therapies will visit our on-site hair and beauty salon, Salon 31, reception and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) clinic.

Health and Social Care (Further Education)

Join us for a tour of Bridgend Campus, where you will find our provision for Health and Social Care. Here you will have the chance to visit our classrooms and ‘role play’ room for work simulations.

We have provision for Independent Living Skills on both our Bridgend and Pencoed Campuses. At Bridgend, our tour will visit classrooms, sensory spaces and our on-site coffee shop, Clwb Coffi.

Our Skills and ESOL tour is the perfect chance for you to visit our ESOL and Skills classrooms, explore our Success Hub, and enjoy a tour of other relevant spaces. You will be able to meet teaching staff including co-ordinators and can ask questions regarding our Skills for Further Study and full or part-time ESOL courses.
