You can study ESOL from Entry 1 to Level 2. We offer both Part-time and Full-time ESOL courses.
Full-time studies take place 3 days per week, usually between 9am-3pm at our Bridgend Campus.
Part-time studies take place one evening per week 6-8pm at our Pencoed Campus. We also offer some part-time daytime studies, but please speak to our team for specific details.

Our ESOL courses include all 4 skills:
Grammar and vocabulary are developed in the classroom and students are encouraged to choose the topics which are important to them, especially in their everyday lives.
To make sure you are studying at the right level, you will be asked to attend an interview where we will check your speaking and listening skills and also set a short reading and writing assessment.
All courses lead to qualifications which are either ESOL, City and Guilds or Agored Cymru.

For most students, these courses are FREE* of charge, eg, settled migrants, refugees and people seeking asylum. People on a spousal visa may also be entitled to free lessons. There may be a charge for some students, which depends on the type of visa you have. Unfortunately, we cannot accept those who have student or visitor visas.
Information about fees, how much and when and how to pay will be provided at your first appointment when you complete your English language test.
*there is a £40 enrolment fee for most learners â asylum seekers and refugees are exempt.
We will help you to improve your language skills by working on speaking and listening skills, grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing skills. This will help you with living in the UK now and in the future.
You will take City and Guilds Assessments in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. Entry 2 and Entry 3 will also complete an Application of Number City and Guilds Qualification.
Full-time day students come to college 3 days a week. These classes start in September and are 34 weeks long. Day classes are between 9am and 3.30pm.
This course comprises City and Guilds Level 1 Listening and Speaking Qualification plus a Level One Agored Work Related Qualification (Equivalent to 2 GCSEs)
