Maths for Adults - Advanced (Level 2)
The course is also suitable for adults aiming to achieve a GCSE grade C or above, on the new curriculum.
Maths for Bridgend Community - Adult Beginners (Entry 3)
Designed for those seeking to strengthen foundational numeracy skills, this free course covers key topics including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, graphs, tables, and money.
Participants will receive Agored Cymru credits at Entry Level 3.
Maths for Bridgend Community - Adult Improvers (Level 1)
This free course provides learners with the opportunity to develop their maths skills at Level 1, equivalent to a GCSE grade D.
It is ideal for individuals aiming to progress towards GCSE-level study.
Successful completion awards Agored Cymru credits, which can contribute towards a recognised qualification.
Maths for Litchard Community - Adult Improvers (Level 1)
This free course provides learners with the opportunity to develop their maths skills at Level 1, equivalent to a GCSE grade D.
It is ideal for individuals aiming to progress towards GCSE-level study.
Successful completion awards Agored Cymru credits, which can contribute towards a recognised qualification.
Maths for Parents & Adults - Year 9 Foundation Curriculum & New Foundation GCSE (Term 1)
This course is designed to help parents and carers understand the lower set Year 9 and Year 10 mathematics curriculum and effectively support their child’s education and test preparation.
The course is also suitable for adults aiming to achieve a GCSE grade C, on the new curriculum.
Maths for Parents & Adults - Year 9 Higher Curriculum & New Higher GCSE Curriculum (Term 1)
This course is designed to help parents and carers understand the higher set Year 9 and Year 10 mathematics curriculum and effectively support their child’s education and test preparation.
The course is also suitable for adults aiming to achieve a GCSE grade B or above, on the new curriculum.
Maths for Parents - Preparing for Welsh Medium Secondary Education (Term 1)
From October 2026, Bridgend College will offer a unique “Maths for Parents” course.
Focusing on the key topics pupils need to know in Year 7 and 8, the course will be delivered primarily in English, with key mathematical terminology being taught bilingually. The course will run for 10 weekly sessions, 2 hours per session.
Participants will be better equipped to assist their children with homework, revision, and set movement tests.
Maths for Parents - Year 7 & Year 8 Curriculum (Term 1)
This course supports parents, grandparents, or guardians in understanding and engaging with the Year 7-8 mathematics curriculum.
