Intro to Beauty Therapy - Makeup (Level 1)
Whether you want to master a new hobby or are considering a first step toward a career in the beauty industry, this course is a practical way to build your confidence. You will move beyond basic routines to understand the professional techniques used to achieve specific looks. This is a supportive environment designed for adult learners, where you can focus on hands-on skills without the pressure of a traditional classroom. By the end of the course, you will have a solid foundation in how to select and apply products safely and effectively.
Please note: You will need to provide your own supplies for this course which include the following:
- Brushes (foundation, powder, blush/bronzer, 2–3 eye brushes)
- Make-up sponge (e.g. beauty blender)
- Mirror (small or table mirror)
- Make-up bag
- Hair clips or headband
- Hand sanitizer
- Brush cleaner (if available)
Upon the completion of this unit, students will be awarded Beauty Therapy: Applying Make up Level 1 from Agored Cymru
Intro to Beauty Therapy - Nailcare (Level 1)
This course introduces the fundamental skills required to perform professional manicures. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of nail anatomy, essential health and safety protocols, and the practical techniques needed to deliver a high-quality manicure service.
Upon the completion of this unit, students will be awarded Manicure Level 1 from Agored Cymru
