If you have always wanted to pick up a guitar and play but did not know where to start, this course is designed for you. A relaxed, hands-on introduction aimed at adult learners who want to learn a new creative hobby, you do not need to worry if you have never played an instrument before. This is a supportive space where you can build your confidence and learn at your own pace.

Welcome to a course designed to help you explore the rich world of Welsh music. Whether you want to reconnect with your heritage or are simply looking for a fulfilling hobby, this course covers Welsh music in its broadest definition. 

You will explore traditional and modern styles, vocal and instrumental pieces, and even look at composing and performing. If you have concerns about performing in front of others, you will find that this course provides a supportive space to build your confidence at your own pace.

Upon the completion of this unit, students will be awarded Music and Musicians of Wales Entry Level 3 from Agored Cymru
