Mae WorldSkills UK yn defnyddio ei gyfranogiad yng nghystadleuaeth ryngwladol WorldSkills i hyrwyddo’r rhagoriaeth sgiliau ledled y DU, a thrwy weithio gydag addysg, diwydiannau a llywodraethau’r DU mae’n gwreiddio safonau hyfforddi o’r radd flaenaf ar draws y sector sgiliau. Mae hyn yn helpu i ateb y galw am weithlu medrus iawn mewn sectorau hanfodol gan gynnwys peirianneg, gwasanaethau digidol, gweithgynhyrchu ac adeiladwaith.

“Rwy’n falch iawn o Melody, Jac, George, Aled a Morgan. Mae cael eu dewis ar gyfer y rhaglen hyfforddi hon yn rhyfeddol, ac mae’n wir yn gyfle sydd ond yn digwydd unwaith mewn oes. Maen nhw eisoes wedi arddangos eu sgiliau rhagorol, yn ogystal â phenderfyniad ac ymroddiad, a byddwn ni’n eu cefnogi nhw bob cam o’r ffordd ar y daith gyffrous sydd o’u blaenau nhw.”

Viv Buckley, Pennaeth a Phrif Swyddog Gweithredol

Pearson yw partner swyddogol Tîm y DU ar gyfer WorldSkills yn Shanghai, yn dilyn partneriaeth lwyddiannus yn WorldSkills 2024 yn Lyon.

“Llongyfarchiadau i fyfyrwyr a phrentisiaid Coleg Penybont ar gael eu dewis ar gyfer ein rhaglen hyfforddi yng nghystadleuaeth WorldSkills 2026 yn Shanghai. Ynghyd â’r aelodau eraill ar ein rhaglen, byddan nhw’n datblygu’r sgiliau cywir i hybu twf busnes ar draws ein heconomi. Gyda WorldSkills yn cael ei gynnal yn Shanghai y flwyddyn nesaf, mae’n darparu llwyfan gwych i ni weithio’n agos gyda Tsieina, lle rydym yn gwybod bod rhagoriaeth sgiliau yn flaenoriaeth, i gydweithio, arloesi a dysgu gan y gorau yn y byd.”
