EHB Y Dywysoges Frenhinol yn cydnabod Coleg Penybont am ragoriaeth mewn hyfforddiant a datblygu

Rydym yn falch iawn i gyhoeddi bod Coleg Penybont wedi ennill Gwobr Hyfforddiant y Dywysoges Frenhinol am ein rhaglen Arweinyddiaeth Canolbwyntio ar yr Unigolyn. Wedi’i gyhoeddi yn ddiweddar gan y Grŵp City & Guilds, mae Gwobrau Hyfforddiant y Dywysoges Frenhinol yn cydnabod ac yn dathlu sefydliadau ar draws y Deyrnas Unedig a ddangosodd ymroddiad eithriadol i hyfforddiant a datblygu.

Mae EHB y Dywysoges Frenhinol, Llywydd City & Guilds, yn gwobrwyo cyflogwyr sydd wedi creu rhaglenni datblygu hyfforddiant a sgiliau rhagorol a gafodd effaith busnes amlwg dros y 12 mi s diwethaf.

Dywedodd Sam Morgan, Cyfarwyddwr Pobl yng Ngholeg Penybont:

“Sylweddolwn fod gan ein rheolwyr gyrraedd ac effaith fawr iawn gyda’n staff a’n myfyrwyr. Bu ein buddsoddiad mewn datblygu ein rheolwyr yn sylweddol, ond nid yw unrhyw le tebyg i’r gwerth a ddangosodd ein rheolwyr drwy roi’r sgiliau y maent wedi eu dysgu ar waith gyda’r unigolion a arweiniant. Mae’r ymddiriedaeth y mae rheolwyr wedi ei meithrin gyda’u timau drwy fabwysiadu dull sy’n canolbwyntio ar yr unigolyn yn rhagorol. Canfu arolwg pan oedd y pandemig ar ei waethaf fod 93% o’r staff fod y Cyngor yn diwallu neu’n rhagori ar eu disgwyliadau. Roedd hyn yn wirioneddol eithriadol ar gyfnod anhygoel o heriol.”

Sam Morgan

Cafodd y Coleg hefyd wobr Aur ym Mynegai Llesiant Gweithlu 2021 Mind, gan arddangos effaith gwirioneddol wrth greu diwylliant sy’n cefnogi iechyd a lles meddwl da. Sicrhawyd hyn drwy arweinwyr rhagorol sydd wedi dangos trugaredd a chefnogaeth, gan hefyd sicrhau fod perfformiad timau ar draws y Coleg yn parhau’n uchel a bod profiad ein dysgwyr yn rhagorol.

Dywedodd Sam hefyd:

“Nid oes unrhyw amheuaeth na fu ein rheolwyr yn ganolog wrth ymwreiddio ein diwylliant canolbwyntio ar yr unigolyn ac y bu’r rhaglen yn allweddol wrth alluogi hyn. Mae gennym bobl anhygoel o dalentog yn gweithio i ni ac mae ein buddsoddiad parhaus mewn datblygu ein gweithlu yn hollbwysig i’n llwyddiant fel coleg.”

Sam Morgan

Mae sefydliadau a dderbyniodd Wobr Hyfforddiant y Dywysoges Frenhinol yn 2021 yn amrywio o ran maint ac yn cynnwys ystod amrywiol o sectorau tebyg i Barclays, HMRC a Sky UK. Mae nifer o’r rhai a dderbyniodd wobrau eleni wedi defnyddio hyfforddiant mewn dulliau blaengar fel ffordd o drin prinder sgiliau a bylchau sgiliau yn eu sector.

Dywedodd Kirstie Donnelly MBE, Prif Weithredwr Grŵp City & Guilds:

“Mae’r 18 mis diwethaf wedi tarfu ar y ffordd y mae’r rhan fwyaf o sefydliadau yn gweithio ac mae hynny wedi arwain at newidiadau mawr i bawb ohonom yn y ffordd yr ydym yn byw a gweithio. Er yr heriau hyn, mae’n wych gweld ymrwymiad parhaus llawer o sefydliadau i hyfforddiant a datblygu yn ogystal â’r effaith cadarnhaol a newid bywyd y gall dysgu ei gael ar bobl.”

Kirstie Donnelly MBE

Dywedodd rhai a dderbyniodd Wobr Hyfforddiant y Dywysoges Frenhinol yn flaenorol iddynt weld effeithiau cadarnhaol, clir ar eu busnes, gyda 82% yn dweud iddo wella recriwtio a chadw a 62% yn sôn y bu cynnydd mewn buddsoddiad yn eu rhaglenni hyfforddiant. Bydd hyn yn hollbwysig pan ddaw i helpu busnesau sicrhau adferiad yn dilyn Covid, cau bylchau sgiliau yn y sector a hyrwyddo diwylliant o ddatblygu sgiliau.

I gael rhestr lawn o enillwyr y gwobrau a’u rhaglenni hyfforddiant, gweler tudalen enillwyr gwobrau 2021.
