Dathlu llwyddiant myfyrwyr yng Ngwobrau Cystadleuaeth Sgiliau Cymru

Roedd Coleg Penybont yn un o ddim ond chwe coleg ledled Cymru a ddewiswyd ar gyfer ffrydio Gwobrau Cystadleuaeth Sgiliau Cymru yn fyw ar noswaith 17 Mawrth. Nod Cystadleuaeth Sgiliau Cymru, drwy Ysbrydoli Rhagoriaeth Sgiliau yng Nghymru, yw codi proffil sgiliau yng Nghymru ac mae’n cynnig cyfle i fyfyrwyr a phrentisiaid gymryd rhan mewn cyfres o gystadlaethau sgiliau galwedigaethol mewn amrywiaeth o sectorau.

Cynhaliwyd y digwyddiad dathlu yn ein Hacademi STEAM ar Gampws Pencoed gyda rhai gwobrau’n cael eu cyflwyno yn fyw o’r Coleg. Enillodd 17 o ddysgwyr Coleg Penybont fedalau ar y noswaith – 4 aur, 3 arian a 10 efydd. Cafwyd adloniant byw gwych gan ein myfyrwyr Cerddoriaeth gyda’n myfyrwyr Lletygarwch yn gweini lluniaeth.

Yn ogystal â chystadleuwyr a’u tiwtoriaid, cafodd y digwyddiad dathlu ei fynychu gan lywodraethwyr y Coleg, yn cynnwys Jeff Greenidge a benodwyd yn ddiweddar yn Gadeirydd y Llywodraethwyr, a Suzanne Packer a enillodd gymrodoriaeth Anrhydeddus Coleg Penybont yn ein Seremoni Gwobrau Addysg Uwch 2021. Cafodd rhai o’r gwobrau eu cyflwyno’n fyw ar y noswaith gan Huw Irranca-Davies AS a Simon Pirotte, Pennaeth a Phrif Swyddog Gweithredol y coleg.
