Cystadleuaeth Sgiliau Cymru 2025: Coleg Penybont yn ennill 26 o fedalau

Roedd myfyrwyr Coleg Penybont yn fuddugol yn seremoni wobrwyo Cystadleuaeth Sgiliau Cymru 2025 neithiwr, gan ennill cyfanswm o 26 o fedalau. Enillwyd gwobrau yn gyffredinol, gyda myfyrwyr yn ennill 18 Aur, 5 Arian a 3 Efydd.

Cynhaliodd y Coleg barti gwylio yn ei Academi STEAM, a ddaeth â myfyrwyr a gymerodd ran, eu teuluoedd a’u tiwtoriaid ynghyd i ddathlu ymdrech, sgil a pherfformiad rhagorol y myfyrwyr a arddangoswyd yn ystod y rhagbrofion.

Wedi’i hariannu gan Lywodraeth Cymru, mae Cystadleuaeth Sgiliau Cymru yn gyfres flynyddol o ragbrofion cystadleuol ar draws ystod o feysydd galwedigaethol, a gynhelir rhwng mis Ionawr a mis Mawrth. Mae myfyrwyr yn cystadlu yn eu categorïau dewisol, gan roi cyfle iddynt arddangos a meincnodi eu sgiliau yn erbyn eu cyfoedion. Mae’r cystadlaethau’n ymdrin â sgiliau ar draws pedwar sector allweddol: Adeiladwaith a Seilwaith; Peirianneg a Thechnoleg; Iechyd, Lletygarwch a Ffordd o Fyw; a Digidol, Busnes a Chreadigol.

Mae Cystadleuaeth Sgiliau Cymru, sy’n cael ei rhedeg gan y prosiect Ysbrydoli Rhagoriaeth Sgiliau yng Nghymru, hefyd yn fan lansio i gyfranogwyr gystadlu mewn digwyddiadau cenedlaethol a rhyngwladol mawreddog, fel WorldSkills UK a WorldSkills International.
