Coleg Penybont yn dathlu llwyddiant eithriadol myfyrwyr yn Seremoni Wobrwyo Flynyddol 2024

Cynhaliwyd ein seremoni Gwobrau Blynyddol 2024, dan arweiniad y Dirprwy Bennaeth, Joe Baldwin, yn ein Hacademi STEAM ar 25 Mehefin, gan gydnabod ac anrhydeddu llwyddiant eithriadol ymhlith ein myfyrwyr. Traddododd y Pennaeth a’r Prif Weithredwr, Viv Buckley, anerchiad Pennaeth yn canmol cyflawniadau academaidd rhagorol y myfyrwyr, eu hymrwymiad i astudio a’u penderfyniad i lwyddo eleni.

Yn ystod y noson, cyflwynwyd 30 o wobrau i fyfyrwyr a oedd wedi dangos sgil, angerdd a chymhelliant dros eu hastudiaethau, yn ogystal â’r rhai sydd wedi cyfrannu at fywyd coleg ehangach.

Daeth dros 100 o westeion i’r digwyddiad, gan gynnwys aelodau o’r teulu, tiwtoriaid y Coleg, Llywodraethwyr y Coleg a chynghorwyr lleol; Cynghorydd John Spanswick, Cynghorydd Jane Gebbie, Cynghorydd Martyn Jones a Cynghorydd Tracey Lyddon. Hefyd yn cefnogi dathliad y myfyrwyr roedd Cymrodyr Coleg Penybont, Suzanne Packer a Paul Croke.

Yn dilyn cyflwyniad y prif wobr, rhoddwyd dwy wobr derfynol i ystyried effaith ar lefel Coleg cyfan.

Eleni, cyflwynwyd gwobr newydd, y ‘Wobr Seren Ddisglair’ i Evie Wackett, myfyriwr sydd wedi dangos gwelliant sylweddol dros y flwyddyn academaidd. Cyflwynwyd ‘Dysgwr Coleg y Flwyddyn’, a adnabyddir fel arall fel Gwobr y Pennaeth, i Fatima Kwaider i gydnabod eu llwyddiannau eithriadol eleni.

Yn ogystal â’r gwobrau myfyrwyr, cyflwynwyd Gwobr Partneriaeth Cyflogwyr i A&N Lewis. Fe wnaethon ni weithio mewn partneriaeth â’r sefydliad am y tro cyntaf yn 2023 ac mae ein perthynas wedi mynd o nerth i nerth.
