Mae’r canlyniadau hyn yn dangos gwaith caled ac ymroddiad eithriadol ein myfyrwyr.

Y tu hwnt i’r llawr cystadlu, roedd y digwyddiad yn gyfle unigryw i ysbrydoli darpar fyfyrwyr wrth i ni agor ein drysau i ysgolion o bob cwr o Fwrdeistref Sirol Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr a Bwrdeistref Sirol Castell-nedd Port Talbot. Gyda channoedd o fyfyrwyr lleol ar y campws bob dydd, mwynhaodd y plant daith o amgylch y cystadlaethau i weld safonau uchel y rowndiau terfynol cyn ymweld â stondinau ein cyrsiau galwedigaethol a chymryd rhan mewn gweithgareddau rhyngweithiol. Cynlluniwyd y sesiynau hyn i ymgysylltu â meddyliau a dwylo’r myfyrwyr, gan gynnwys partneriaid diwydiant a phrofiadau trochi yn amrywio o efelychwyr F1 i safle trosedd fforensig efelychiadol.

“Rydym yn falch iawn o fod wedi darparu man lle mae addysg, sgiliau, diwydiannau a galwedigaethau’n dod at ei gilydd i ddangos pŵer cydweithio a rhagoriaeth. Mae gweld yr wythnos hon yn dod i ben gyda llawer o ymwelwyr ifanc o ysgolion lleol wedi bod yn hynod arbennig. Rydym hefyd wedi bod yn falch o groesawu a chydweithio â chyflogwyr a sectorau lleol gan gynnwys y BBC a Renishaw. Mae’r bwrlwm gan y gymuned a oedd yn cymryd rhan yn ein sesiynau galwedigaethol ‘Rhowch Gynnig Arni’ yn dangos gwir bŵer y digwyddiadau hyn, gan ysbrydoli’r dyfodol yma ym Mhen-y-bont ar Ogwr.”

Hayley Thomas, Dirprwy Bennaeth – Cwricwlwm ac Ansawdd

Croesawon ni Rhun ap Iorwerth a chynrychiolwyr o Blaid Cymru, ColegauCymru, Llywodraeth Cymru, Estyn a Chyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr wrth iddynt grwydro o amgylch ardaloedd y cystadlaethau a’r sesiynau rhyngweithiol a oedd ar gael.

Yng nghanol y dathliadau, buom yn cynnal Digwyddiad Ymgysylltu â Chyflogwyr gyda dros 30 o ymwelwyr o fusnesau lleol a chenedlaethol. Aeth gwesteion ar daith o amgylch y cystadlaethau cyn ymuno â thrafodaeth ar bwysigrwydd partneriaethau rhwng addysg alwedigaethol a diwydiannau, gyda mewnwelediadau gan Ben Blackledge, Prif Weithredwr WorldSkills UK, Jessica Leigh Jones MBE, Ruben Duggan – enillydd medal WorldSkills UK, a Mark Staveley o Arc Plant and Civils Training, a oedd hefyd yn noddwr y digwyddiad.

“Cawsom ddiwrnod bendigedig – roedd ein disgyblion wrth eu boddau’n archwilio safle mor drawiadol, ac roedd yr hofrennydd a’r sesiwn ar ei fecaneg yn denu llygaid llydan a chwestiynau gwych. Yn bennaf oll, roedd eich staff yn gyfeillgar, yn hyfryd ac yn hynod gefnogol drwy gydol y dydd; roedd eu hegni’n gwneud pob gweithgaredd yn hygyrch ac yn gyffrous. Roedd ein disgyblion wrth eu boddau.”
