Gwrth-hiliaeth

Mae Coleg Penybont wedi ymrwymo’n llwyr i ddyhead Llywodraeth Cymru i gyflawni Cymru Wrth-hiliol erbyn 2030. Rydym am fod yn Goleg gwrth-hiliol, ac rydym wedi ymrwymo i feithrin diwylliant cynhwysol lle mae pobl yn barchus, a lle mae hyn wedi’i wreiddio ym mhopeth a wnawn. Rydym eisiau datblygu diwylliant gwrth-hiliol lle mae pobl yma i’w gilydd gydag ymddiriedaeth a gonestrwydd – lle i ddysgu a gweithio lle mae pobl yn ffynnu a lle gall pobl fod yn bopeth y gallant fod.

Fel sefydliad addysg, rydym yn cydnabod ein cyfrifoldeb i ddatblygu sgiliau, gwybodaeth a hyder ein myfyrwyr, staff a’r cymunedau rydym yn eu gwasanaethu. Rydyn ni eisiau bod yn lle noddfa, gan ddarparu ymdeimlad o berthyn.

Coleg Noddfa

Fel rhan o’n hymrwymiad parhaus i greu amgylchedd cynhwysol a chroesawgar, rydym yn falch o fod yn gweithio tuag at ddod yn Goleg Noddfa. Mae’r fenter hon yn ymwneud â sicrhau bod ein coleg yn lle diogel, yn llawn dealltwriaeth, a chyfleoedd i’r rhai sy’n ceisio noddfa, gan gynnwys ffoaduriaid a cheiswyr lloches.

Mae Coleg Noddfa yn fwy na theitl yn unig – mae’n addewid i feithrin diwylliant o gynhwysiant, parch, a chefnogaeth i bawb. Mae’n golygu ymgorffori egwyddorion noddfa yn ein polisïau, ein cwricwlwm, a bywyd bob dydd yn y coleg i sicrhau bod pawb, waeth beth fo’u cefndir, yn teimlo eu bod yn cael eu gwerthfawrogi a’u grymuso i lwyddo. Er mwyn cryfhau’r ymrwymiad hwn, rydym yn datblygu Pecyn Cymorth Coleg Noddfa, a chredwn fod gan bob aelod o gymuned ein coleg rôl hanfodol i’w chwarae wrth ei lunio.

Cynllun 10 Pwynt Gwrth-hiliaeth

Mae Pecyn Cymorth y Cynllun 10 Pwynt yn galluogi sefydliadau i gynnal archwiliad cynhwysfawr o’u harferion gwrth-hiliol ar draws 4 maes:

Cwricwlwm Hinsawdd Diwylliant |  Cyfathrebu

Cynllun Gweithredu Gwrth-hiliaeth

Er bod gan rai camau gweithredu ddulliau sydd eisoes wedi’u hymgorffori a’u sefydlu, mae llawer o’r camau gweithredu a amlinellir yn ein cynllun gwrth-hiliaeth yn uchelgeisiau tymor hwy fel rhan o’n taith barhaus tuag at greu sefydliad gwirioneddol wrth-hiliol sy’n ysbrydoli ac yn hyrwyddo cyfleoedd i bobl Ddu, Asiaidd a Lleiafrifoedd Ethnig yn y Coleg, ein cymuned leol, yn genedlaethol ac yn rhyngwladol.

Rydym am gael ein cydnabod, trwy deilyngdod gwirioneddol, am ein gwaith a’n cefnogaeth i hyrwyddo newid ystyrlon a chyfleoedd ar gyfer gwrth-hiliaeth.

Adduned Dim Hiliaeth Cymru

Rydym yn hynod falch o gyhoeddi bod Coleg Penybont wedi cryfhau ei safiad yn erbyn hiliaeth trwy ymrwymo i bolisi Dim Hiliaeth Cymru. Mae Dim Hiliaeth Cymru yn galw ar bob sefydliad ac unigolyn sydd wedi ymrwymo i hyrwyddo cydraddoldeb hil a thegwch i addunedu i’w bolisi dim goddefgarwch i hiliaeth yng Nghymru.

Trwy lofnodi’r adduned hon (ers 2021), rydym yn cytuno i geisio creu, cynnal a hyrwyddo cymuned lle mae pob person yn cael ei drin yn deg ac yn gyfartal, beth bynnag fo’i hil. Mae Coleg Penybont yn cadarnhau ei ymrwymiad i alluogi cyfleoedd cyfartal mewn cyflogaeth a darparu gwasanaethau.

Ymarfer sy’n ystyriol o drawma

Rydym yn cydnabod effaith sylweddol trawma ar fywydau unigolion ac yn deall bod agwedd dosturiol a llawn cydymdeimlad yn hanfodol i gefnogi ein myfyrwyr a’n staff ar eu teithiau academaidd a phersonol. Gwnawn ni hyn drwy fod yn bwyllog, yn gyson ac yn ofalgar yn ein dull o gyfathrebu a gwneud penderfyniadau.

Bwlch Cyflog Ethnigrwydd

Rydym yn canolbwyntio’n weithredol ar gau’r bwlch cyflog ethnigrwydd ac mae mwy o wybodaeth ar gael yn adroddiad Bwlch Cyflog Coleg Penybont.
