Riccardo Cocco, 18, from Pontyclun and Michael Taylor, 22, from Pencoed who are studying the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts at Bridgend College have recently received the fantastic news that they have been accepted into the Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance, one of the top conservatoires in Britain.
Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance is a British drama school, offering university-level and professional vocational training for theatre and performance with the BA and MA degrees based in Sidcup, Kent.
Riccardo is going to study the BA (Hons) European Theatre Arts while Michael is undertaking a BA (Hons) in Acting. Both students attended auditions in February and again in April before securing their places.
Rachel Morgan-Belle, Course Tutor, says “I am very pleased and proud of both Michael and Riccardo for obtaining places at Rose Bruford. They have demonstrated hard work and commitment during their two years at Bridgend College and have bright futures ahead of them.”
Rose Bruford College enables students of different professions in the performing arts to collaborate throughout their training. Students’ stage theatre productions in the four on-campus theatre performance spaces and third year undergraduate students present their shows in London venues including the Unicorn Theatre and Leicester Square Theatre.
