Option T

The ‘Twilight' programme is an innovative partnership between the comprehensive schools in Bridgend, Ysgol Gyfun Llanhari and Bridgend College which gives school pupils the opportunity to undertake AS/A2 Level courses, not available at their Comprehensive School.

Each of the subjects is taught by experienced, specialist lecturers at the College. Over the last five years a total of 876 students from the Bridgend area have accessed the A level partnership with Bridgend College, studying after school hours. From September 2007/2008 a wider choice of courses was made available in addition to the AS/A2 qualifications. At present we offer the following courses:

Stephanie Fair, Brynteg School says: "........made me realise that this is the subject I want to do in university. It is good to mix with students from other schools."
