Foundation Degree Early Years Care & Education

Location: Queens Road Campus

Length of Course: Part-time: two years

Days & Times: Monday 4.30pm – 8.30pm

Fees: £584 per year 

Course Description:   This exciting course is part of a Government initiative to promote the delivery of Foundation Degrees in Further Education Colleges. There is a growing demand for Early Years practitioners with higher level qualifications such as this Foundation Degree. The Wales agenda is embedded within the study of the sector as a whole, recognising the significant changes we are currently experiencing.

Year 2

  • Professional Practice 2

 

Entry Requirements: 

Applicants must demonstrate an ability to study at Higher Education level and ideally will already be working in the field of Early Years for a minimum of 12 hours per week In exceptional cases students may find suitable work placements if they are not currently in employment.
