Foundation Degree in Creative Industries (Drama)

Location: Bridgend Campus                Length of Course: Full-time: 2 years

 

Entry Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 A Level or
  • A BTEC National Diploma (at least 5 merits) or
  • Mature students may be accepted at the discretion of the Course Tutor.

Course Information:

The Foundation Degree in Drama is an innovative course, designed and delivered in partnership with the industry, to equip students with the relevant knowledge and skills required by the theatre business.

 Learning & Teaching:

It provides students with the opportunity to devise and write their own productions, work from texts and learn performance skills and techniques.  The Foundation Degree will introduce you to live performance and theatre, plus drama as a vital form of film, television and radio through workshops with professional bodies.

A dynamic course packed full of engaging, innovative and exciting modules delivered by a strong team of experts and industry professionals.

 Employment Opportunities:

Graduates from the Foundation Degree in Drama may progress to a Degree course or a professional qualification.  There is also the opportunity to enter the media entertainment industries due to the wealth of skills and transferable experience you will gain, which further enhances options for a career path.
