The Engineering department offers a wide range of courses in:Technology Transfer Suite

  • Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • Engineering
  • Fabrication & Welding
  • Motor Vehicle
  • Maintenance Engineering
  • Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering

Courses range from First Diploma to National Diploma to HND level, and allow students to study full-time or part-time around work and/or family commitments.

The courses are designed to for students who wish to learn a skill such as motor mechanics or electrics or enter a profession such as Building Consultancy or Chartered Engineering.

Many students progress within the Engineering Department at Bridgend College starting with a Level 2 course and leaving with a Level 5 qualification, and often return to College to update skills as industry standards develop.
