DSA Assessment Service
The Bridgend College Assessment Centre is a DSA-QAG registered assessment service that primarily carries out Needs Assessments as part of the Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA). This is an allowance funded through Local Education Authorities for students with Additional Needs in Higher Education.
Assessment Centre staff undertake specialist assessments for students with a wide range of additional needs, including hearing and visual impairments, mobility-related needs, mental health issues as well as specific learning difficulties (such as dyslexia and dyspraxia).
