BA (Hons) Degree in Photographic Practice

Length of Course:  3 years, full-time or up to 6 years part-time (1 day and 1 evening)

Campus: Queens Road, Bridgend Industrial Estate

Fees: Part-time: £645 per year

Course Description:   This course aims to provide students with the professional and academic development, enabling them to become creative individuals that are responsive to the needs of the Photographic and Associated Industries.  Students will progress through three levels of study and will be provided with the opportunity to develop a sustained body of commercially viable independent practical work, in conjunction with a body of academic research.

On completion of the course, graduates should be able to advance professionally and contribute significantly within the field of Photography.

Entry Requirements:

Students should possess at least:

  • A minimum of 2 A Levels at grade C or above (one of which must be an art based subject) or
  • A BTEC National Diploma or equivalent in a related subject with merit grade or above or
  • A BTEC Diploma in Foundation Studies, Art & Design or
  • A mature student with a substantial portfolio of photographic and/or artwork.
