Assistant Principal shortlisted for IWA Educator Award

Robert Evans, Bridgend College's Assistant Principal, Quality & Curriculum, has selected as one of three finalists in the Educator category in this year’s IWA Inspire Wales Awards.

The IWA Inspire Wales Awards recognise and reward excellence, underline the importance of innovation in the public, private and voluntary sectors, encourage active involvement in Welsh civil society as well as championing equal opportunities.

The 'Educator' category recognises an individual, teacher, lecturer or work-based trainer who has pioneered an initiative which has been hailed as an example of good practice in their locality, region or throughout Wales.

The finalists are interviewed by the judges in the Media Wales Offices, Cardiff and they will be profiled in the Western Mail

The IWA Inspire Wales Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday 14 June at the Cardiff City Hall.
